Christian Tschida is a famous natural winemaker from Burgenland in Austria. Known as a perfectionist and quite private in his personal life, Christian prefers to let his wines speak for themselves, and he has earned a loyal following around the world. He farms mainly on limestone and gravel soils, both in his home village of Illmitz and in the legendary Leithaberg area west of Lake Neusiedl. Popular Tschida bottles include his Himmel auf Erden wines, Non-Tradition Weiss and, of course, his magnificent Tschida Brutal, made from Pinot Noir. Definitely one of the best in the business.
