Pure and precise, with peach, flowers and minerality
A wonderful peach and floral aroma on the nose, with a noticeable mineral note as well. The palate does not follow exactly the same line as the aroma, but you can feel the peach fruit picking up a nutty core. A lovely interplay of minerality and acidity creates a long, pleasant texture.
The grapes come from the highest and coolest parts of the hill in the vineyard, which are also the most chalk-rich areas. The grapes are picked on five different days to capture the full range of aromas, and form the basis of a rosé that reflects this wonderful soil in the purest way. This is a wine as clean and direct as can be made from red grapes. The result is a wine that is direct and precise like a laser beam, with rich floral and spice notes and the elegance that characterises light red wines with white-wine qualities. The name lives up to itself: Heaven on Earth.
Pairs well with fish, chicken, pork and light cheeses, and is good as an aperitif.
