Full and powerful, with dark fruit and soft tannins
Fermented by carbonic maceration and aged for a year in barrels that have previously held wine from several vintages. The aroma is inviting, marked by ripe dark fruit. On the palate, refreshing acidity balances the body well. Although the wine is dense and powerful, the tannins are soft and velvety. The finish offers a slight hint of spice. The wine suits everyday meals well, such as lasagne.
Pairs well with lasagne, pasta, beef and other everyday dishes.
