A juicy, concentrated Pinot Noir with cherries and violets
A Premier Cru from the Maranges valley in the southernmost part of the Côte de Beaune. Aromas of dark cherries, raspberries, violets and a gentle hint of spice, with delicate earthy notes. The palate is juicy and concentrated, with silky tannins, lively acidity and chalky mineral notes that give the wine length and elegant balance. The wine is made with whole bunches, minimal intervention and very little sulphur, which lets the origin of the vineyard shine through fully. Particularly good with duck, game, lamb and mushroom dishes.
