Beaune is the heart of winegrowing in the Côte de Beaune and is often called the wine capital of Bourgogne. Although there are no Grand Cru vineyards within the appellation, Beaune enjoys an enormous reputation for its wide range of Premier Cru wines and its long winegrowing history.
A Premier Cru from one of Beaune's most respected vineyards. Aromas of cherries, raspberries and wild strawberries, with delicate floral, spice and forest-floor notes. On the palate the wine is refined and juicy, with silky tannins, lively acidity and a chalky, mineral expression that gives it elegant length and balance. A young wine with great potential for development that shines with duck, veal, mushroom dishes and aged cheeses. The Champs Pimont vineyard is known for its chalky soil, which results in a particularly fresh and mineral style.
